I am a qualified counsellor, BACP registered, and have experience working as a freelance counsellor at a local wellbeing centre. I have previously worked for a charity offering counselling and am also a former Samaritans volunteer. I have an interest in meditation and mindfulness as I believe that being aware of the present moment, our thoughts and feelings can calm our minds and help us to be more self-aware.
I can offer a safe and confidential space to explore your life and the challenges you are facing. I practice the psychodynamic approach to counselling where we will explore how your current problems may be influenced by your past experiences. This approach helps you become more aware of your emotions and bring the unconscious into consciousness. I offer both short-term (6-12 sessions) and long-term counselling. I am an online counsellor and also offer in-person counselling and psychotherapy.
